Cab is investigating. His "love of his life" was also killed on the beach, so this murder brings back painful memories. Cab has trouble connecting with the people he likes. Mom was actress; Dad was unknown to him. Cab talks to family of Glory (murdered girl, and girl who saw the fire.) All points to school teacher, so he's innocent. Murderer is probably Bone family member in disguise. Okay, so far. Not great. Prologue remains the strongest scene.
