Churchill and Orwell

Excellent so far.  Churchill's circuitous route to the PM office is described--what kind of world would be living in if he hadn't made it?  Chamberlain/Asquith weren't going to fight.  Orwell (Eric Blair) nearly killed in Spanish Civil War.  A leftist who values clear thinking, not ideology.  Orwell was not valued in his own time; not mentioned in contemporary accounts of the 30's and 40's.

This book is the perfect length--I really don't want 1000 pages on Churchill or 500 on Orwell.  350 on the two of them--just right!
